Carlos "Panda" Lozano
Originally from Mexico City, Mexico played collegiate tennis at Brigham Young University
Named All Conference for the MWC in singles and doubles, helped the Cougars win a conference championship, and was named an All American
Won the doubles Gold Medal at the World University Games in China and doubles Silver Medal in South Korea
Proudest moment was being a member of the Davis Cup Team for Mexico
After, started as head teaching professional at Topspin Racquet Club and eventually became Director of Tennis
Taught at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head before going back to Columbia to be Director at the Rockbridge Club.
Finally, after being Director of Tennis at Wild Dunes is now part of the tennis professional staff at Snee Farm Country Club
The highlights of professional career include: USTA Southern and USTA SC Pro of the Year, SC coach for the Southern Junior Cup, member of the USTA SC Board of Directors, member of several committees for USTA Southern and USTA SC, coached more than 20 players to collegiate tennis careers, hosted and directed many tournaments, and currently coach Oceanside Collegiate Academy Tennis

Lived mostly in Saipan as a kid, high school in Chicago, College in California …and now in South Carolina
Played the pro circuit in Europe at a young age. Competed mainly in Germany, England, France and Belgium.
A certified USPTA pro for many years, as well as having certifications with the USPTR and Vic Braden’s USTA
Over 40 years coaching experience as a Head Professional
Hobbies include SCUBA diving, skydiving, windsurfing, surfing, mountain biking, black belt in karate, Kendo, made it to nationals in Triathlons… and have all the injuries to prove it
